Social media has made things a lot easier for network marketers. Now, it’s so much easier to get your message to thousands of people and generate interest for your network marketing business.
The trouble is that most network marketers simply don’t know how to properly harness the power of social media. Instead of generating interest, their post look annoying and are very spammy.
A couple weeks ago, I ran into a Facebook post that was very well written and generated a lot of interest in the poster’s network marketing business.
It wasn’t like what many network marketers post. He didn’t just post a link. It contained 3 things that made the post stand out from the others.

The post reads as follows:
Most people really don’t care who invented or product/service or business or even how or why it works. They want to know if it will work for them.
Facts tell and stories sell so if you want to generate some interest, show how the product/service or business has changed your life (or someone you know).
You are more likely to get more interactions and generate more interest if you post a picture.
Cory had a massive change 111 pounds lost and the before and after picture makes the change look even more dramatic.
You might not be able to show your results in a picture but you can still post some sort of picture. Get creative. If you need help, you can always show a picture of your smiling face and say something like, “I’m so much happier now because…”
Cory posted this on January 2nd. A time when many people have vowed to lose weight. The post was timely.
You don’t have to wait until the start of the next year to make a post but you can always take them on the journey with you. I’ve done it before when I started a squat challenge. You can do the same to generate interest in your product, service or business. You can your facebook friends that you’ve decided to lose weight (or be healthier, or have better skin, or quit coffee or start a business). You can update them on your progress. As you make progress and show results, the right candidates will reach out to you for more information. You can always include a little blurb at the end that invites them to reach out to you if they want to know more information.
I wouldn’t post everyday about your journey, people will become numb to your message. Post once a week (if you have more results to show).
3. No Mention Of Product Or Company and No Links
The most important part isn’t about what you include but what you intentionally leave out.
When you mention a product or company, people see your post as an advertisement. People don’t go on social media to buy, they go to get educated or entertained.
Don’t post:”I’ve lost another 3 lbs! That’s 23 pounds total. I used (the name of the product) you can find out more here (your link).
When you post a product name or link, most people will ignore your post. Even if they are interested, you will have no idea because they will google your product or follow your link without telling you. Chances are great that they will find some negativity about your product/company and make an uninformed decision about trying your product or joining your company. You have no chance of following up because you won’t even know that they are interested.
Instead post: “I’ve lost another 3 lbs! That’s 23 pounds total. If you want to know what I’m doing to get these results, feel free to message me.
Have them reach out to you if they want more information. That way, you’ll know who’s interested and give them the proper information so they can make an informed decision.
Now you know how to make an effective MLM facebook post that doesn’t look spammy and can create interest and results.
