What To Say To Online Leads
Have you ever generated a lead online or bought some a leads list but then you don’t know what the next step is?

Call your leads as soon as they opt in. If someone gives you their name, email and phone number then they trust you enough that they will let you call them. Strike while the iron is hot and while the emotion is high and call them as soon as you can. If they opt in at 3pm then call them before 3:05pm. Let them know that you are serious about serving them and growing your business.

Step 1 Build Rapport
Take the time to build some rapport with them use the form method. Get to know them and allow them to know you. Remember, people join people they don’t join companies. If you don’t know where to start, then use their area code.

“I noticed that I’m calling an 801 area code. Are you in Utah? Wow! I used to live there!”

If you don’t recognize their area code, then ask them where they are and look for things that you have in common.
Don’t spend too much time building rapport because they aren’t stupid. They know that you have an agenda. Just spend enough time to find something important then go to the next step.

Step 2. Ask them what they want/need
Just ask them,

“What can I do to best serve you?”

Let them talk.
Some of them will just want your free audio or pdf download and if that’s the case, then let them go. Don’t try to convince them to buy anything from you. Just keep on providing them value and if they need anything, they will reach out to you.
Many however will tell you exactly what they want or need.
All you have to do is listen to them.

Step 3. Review what they want
Once they tell you what they want, then review it the information back to them.

If they answered some marketing about face cream then they might tell you that they aren’t happy with the type of face cream they are using and that they want something all natural.  Just review the information back to them.

If I understand properly, what you are looking for is a way for you to treat your skin that doesn’t involve harsh chemicals because your skin is sensitive. Is that correct?

Step 4 Qualify them

When a prospect says what they want or need,the typical network marketer will go into convincing and sales mode and say something like:

“Well then you need to use our face cream, it has such and such ingredient which has been used for centuries by the northern tribes of where ever. It’s clinically tested and approved by Dr. So and so from prestigious university who won the nobel prize in health back in…
“You need to look at our business. It’s ground floor with the best compensation plan etc.”

Resist that urge and say this

“If what you are saying is true then I think we might have a fit for you.”

This statement will make them curious. Notice the psychology involved here. You are not trying to convince them. You are seeing if it’s a good fit.
