Be In A Hurry When You Prospect… Here’s 2 Reasons Why!

I have been in this profession for 13 years and I’ve prospected thousands of people. I wouldn’t say that I’m the best at prospecting but I can certainly hold my own. I can say that there are many factors that determine your success when you are prospecting to grow your mlm business, being in a hurry is one of the essential ingredients.
Whether you are calling your warm market or whetheryou generate a lead and you are calling back someone that replied to an ad you must be in a hurry. Being in a hurry doesn’t guarantee success but it certain increase your chances of success.

1. Successful people are always busy
If you look at a successful person’s calendar, they are busy. Most have a balanced life. They are able to make sure that they have more than enough time to build memories and bonds with their family but also have more than enough time to work on their work and their passions. They know that when it’s time to work, they need to roll up their sleeves and get things done. They aren’t sitting around playing video games. They are in a hurry. You need to be in a hurry as well. If you aren’t busy then fill your calendar so that you get busy.

Your calendar is your calculator.

Show me your calendar, and I can tell if you are really making money at your business. How many people did you prospect yesterday? How many presentations did you do? How many follow ups? Even if you are using attraction marketing, you still have to prospect the people that are attracted to your marketing. Are you filling your calendar with income producing activities or are you procrastinating the real work by studying about your comp plan or product.

When you are prospecting, you need to be in a hurry. You can’t show your prospect that you aren’t busy by spending 30 -45 mins on the phone with them with idle chatter. You need to set an appointment and get off the phone. You can do that in less than 5 mins. If you are in a hurry then people want to work with you.
