How To Find Passion And Joy In The Mundane Tedious But Necessary Tasks Even If You Aren’t Good At Them

How To Find Passion
The pathway to our dreams isn’t all cupcakes. There will be tasks that need to be completed in a regular basis, that you will not like and it’s all part of being successful.

Success isn’t owned , it’s leased and rent is due everyday.

What are some of these tasks?

Maybe it’s the sales part of your business. You might be a great baker or a great chef and you love to cook but you don’t like selling your creations.

Maybe it’s marketing. You might like writing and love the idea of authoring a book but you don’t like the idea of making the public aware and getting your message out.

There are certain tasks that you won’t like to do but are necessary for success.

These tasks may seem boring, tedious or mundane but since they are necessary, how can you make them more fun so they actually get done?

Heads up: I’m offering a free audio mp3 so you can learn 6 Law of Attraction Life Hacks that will allow you to implement the Law of Attraction everyday in an effortless way.

Success Feeds Passion
The reason why you don’t like these tasks is because you aren’t good at them. Once you start doing them, you’ll find that after a little while, you get better at it.

When you get better at it, you’ll start to enjoy it.

Success feeds passion more than passion feeds success. ~Scott Adams The Creator of Dilbert

Do The Minimums
If you find yourself procrastinating the mundane, tedious (but necessary) tasks, set a benchmark or the minimum you’ll do each day and then just do it.

Let’s say you want to be an author but you don’t like writing. You are able to write but you would rather go fishing or do something fun.

Start with writing for 5 mins a day. Once you get your 5 minutes in for the day, then you are free to indulge in whatever hobby you want.

By doing this, you will ensure that you will work towards your goals and dreams are least a little bit each day. If all you do are the minimums, you find that you may have some low production days, you won’t have ANY no production days.

Skipping the mundane for one day won’t kill your dreams but skipping them everyday will.

When you do this long enough, it will develop into a habit. You’ll find that you will start enjoying the mundane simply because you are better at it. Instead of just doing the minimums, you will actually start to look forward to doing them and start working on your dreams with passion for sometimes hours at a time.

“Soon these actions will become easy to perform, for any act with practice becomes easy. Thus a new and good habit is born, for when an act becomes easy through constant repetition it becomes a pleasure to perform and if it is a pleasure to perform it is man’s nature to perform it often. When I perform it often it becomes a habit and I become its slave and since it is a good habit this is my will.” ~Og Mandino
