A couple weeks ago, I made an argument that students would make great prospects.
Well, there is another section of the population that would also make great prospects.
That section is the Baby Boomers, the generation of people born between 1946 and 1964.
They are zooming in on retirement but they aren’t thinking about lawn chairs and barbeques.
They are twice as likely to be launch a business next year according to the State of Entrepreneurship Study by the Kauffman Foundation.
What older entrepreneurs lack in energy, they make up for in work experience and networking connections.
They also have a significant level of wealth amassed which is always a factor when looking for someone to join your team.
