Network Marketing Success: Getting out of a slump

If you haven’t had a slump yet in network marketing, don’t worry.

It’s coming.
If you’ve already had one (or a dozen or so) you’ll have more.

The important thing to know about a slump is to understand that they are unavoidable but also they can be shortened.

I wish I could tell you that all you have to do, is say a little prayer or do a little meditation or something else and your slump will go away.

The only way to get out of a slump is to work your way out of it.

Success is like the momentum of a train. If a train is traveling at full speed, it can break through a wall. However, that same train is difficult to get started and can be stopped by something as small as a nail. The same is for your business all you have to do is “move the nail”.

How do you “move the nail”?
You either have to recruit someone or sell product.
You can’t study your way out of it.
You can’t inspire your way out of it.
You just have to work.

Once you get one sale, you’ve started the “train” in motion.
If you can’t get one retail sale of your product then something is wrong. Either you don’t believe in your product or you think it’s too expensive. If either one of those is true then either start believing or quit your company.

The best time to get a sale or to recruit is right after you’ve achieved some success not matter how small.
One sale can turn into 2, then 5 and maybe a couple of business partners and then all of a sudden you are out of your slump.

Even if the profit of a sale is only $1 it can change your mindset and jump start your momentum.
