Building your team in Network Marketing is about finding the right people.
Most “amateur” Network Marketers want to recruit anybody and everybody. They want to know the perfect line to say to people. There is no such thing as the perfect line to get someone to join your business.
The professionals are more selective with who they want to work with.

At the same time these questions will generate curiosity and or steer the conversation towards starting a home business.
Questions for your Warm Market:
Ever get the feeling you were meant to do something great?
I know you don’t know but if you did know, what would you really like to have in life?
Ever wish you could travel more?
Ever think about how you would like to spend more time with your family?
If you had a magic wand, what would your perfect life be like?
When you said you wanted to spend more time with your family, were you serious about that?
Do you see yourself doing what you are doing 20 years from now?
If money was not an issue, what would you do for fun?
If money was not an issue, how would you help people?
What are your goals for this year? Why?
What would you like to change about your current situation?
Questions For Someone Who Hates their job:
How long will you have to continue working that many hours?
If someone were willing to show you how to make money from home, would you be coachable?
If you had a magic wand, what would your perfect job be?
Why do you stay at your job?
How much would you need to be making each month in order for you to be able to quit your job?
Questions for someone who you have just met:
Know anyone that has been affected by the economy that might be open to making some extra money?
I am looking for a good financial planner/realtor/whatever to work with in the home business I am doing part time, do you know any?
Do you like helping other people and would you be interested in getting paid to do so?
What do you like about what you are currently doing?
Questions for cold calling professionals:
Would you be open to a side project that didn’t interfere with what you are currently doing?
Would you be open to exploring another avenue of making income part time?
Do you at all keep your options open when it comes to making any extra money?
Questions for someone that wants to start a business:
What has recently changed in your life that has you open to a business?
What is it you would like to see in a business?
Questions for someone that knows MLM:
What made you join a home business in the past?
What did you hope to get out of your last home biz that you didn’t get?
How to use these MLM Scripts
Make sure to have a handful of these questions memorized so that when you are out prospecting, you can have them “in your back pocket” to qualify a prospect and see if they are someone you want on your team.
Also, print this out. Having these questions close to you when you are talking to prospects on the phone is a good idea.If you are ever at a loss of words, one of these well placed questions will help you steer the conversation and get the prospect talking.
If your prospect seems engaged:
This isn’t meant to be a full course on prospecting but these 2 questions will help decide whether your prospect is someone that qualifies for more of your time.
1. (for cold market or people that you have credibility with) If I could show you how to do that, would you want to see how that works?
2. (for warm market that you don’t have credibility with yet) If there was a way that you could make that happen, would you want to see how that works?
