Real Estate Investing - Three Ways To Make More

Are you considering Real estate investing just to make that extra profit? There are many who believe that investing in real estate is a great source to make money. You can do real estate investing by buying houses and reselling them at a profit. Buying a house is probably the most expensive investment you can make in your life. Thus each sale you make selling your real estate, generates more profit potential for this reason.

Three ways to make money investing in Real Estate

1. Fixing and Flipping Houses:

Fixing and flipping houses is one of the most popular ways to make money in real estate investing. The concept of fixing and flipping houses is simple all you have to do is find a home that needs repair and maintenance. You go in and do all the repairs that are necessary and then put your home on the retail market. Don’t be surprised to make a profit, which is as high as $25,000 just on a single transaction.

2. Fix, hold and sell later:

You can also make money on real estate investing by buying a rundown property and doing all the repairs and maintenance that are necessary to bring the property up to the standard. Once this is done you can rent the home on a lease-option basis.

3. Flipping Houses:

If you do not want to spend on repairs yourself then this type of method will be suitable for you. All you need is some knowledge of home prices and also home up gradation cost. You need to find properties and resell them to other investors on an as-is-basis. Compared to the above two methods this method will not help you to make more profit per transaction as you’ll have to sell at a below- market price to the next investor.

Real Estate investing has been an effective way of making profit for centuries. You can continue to make profit by fixing and reselling homes as long as you are good at bargains and know your market well.

Real Estate Bird Dogging-A Great Way To Build Investing Confidence

July 26, 2009 by Kenny Santos

One of the problems faced by many newbies (new investors) in the real estate business is lack of confidence. Confidence cannot be built without doing the activity that you are trying to build confidence in. This presents a problem with most people because real estate is not something that you can just practice, you cannot practice buying a house, or practice selling it. You could pretend to buy houses I guess, or pretend to sell houses, but pretending is for kids. This is where real estate bird-dogging comes into play. It gives you a reason to practice, you get paid. Now if money won’t make you practice then nothing will.

Instead of not getting paid for all those hours spent learning the market, you could be making thousands. I cannot think of a better way to learn real estate than getting out and looking for good deals, then finding good deals and showing them to buyers, who pay you for your services. Then after the buyers close you can follow the progress of the home and see if you made a good decision or not. The best part is that during your practice, even if you made a not so great decision you still get paid, and you do not lose a penny.

I started out my investment career as a Realtor. I built my confidence through selling investment properties to other people and watching them make money. After selling 9 homes to other investors and seeing them profit tremendously, I knew it was time for me to start making myself some money.

Real Estate Investing Strategies For Making Residual Income Through Real Estate

May 20, 2009 by Kenny Santos

Flipping houses has become a favorite way of making residual income through real estate money in real estate with several television programs taking up its cause. However, before you think it is an easy thing and jump into the rising bandwagon of house flippers you need to scrutinize the investing strategies. Do not think flipping is simply buying a house and then selling it. A lot goes into the whole process.

Let us take a look at some of the good strategies that you might want to follow in order to make the best out the burgeoning flipping houses business and in this process make a substantial amount of residual income through real estate.

You should be good at finding leads. At no point should leads be confused with deals. You should keep on implementing new strategies in order to promote your business. This will help you to get more leads. A successful business of flipping house means you have to be constantly on the lookout for properties that have potential. If you do not actively participate in the marketing and promotion of your business, you will not go far. In fact without this you will be left behind whereas your competitors who are heavily into promotions and leads will make all the profits and residual income through real estate.

The next big step after getting the leads is to convert them into actual deals. First of all you must ensure that your seller is motivated and that his or her offer makes financial sense to you. Collect as much information as possible. In this way you do not actually have to deal with people who are not motivated enough.

You have to plan your exit strategy well too. This is when you are ready to make the deal and prepared to sell the house. Though this is the final stage, you should spend some time right at the beginning in order to make the best profit. There are certain options you might want to think of when you consider your exit strategy.

The success of making a good amount of residual income through real estate depends largely on how quickly you move a property. Therefore it is essential to share a good rapport with real estate buyers and build a strong relation with them. You have to negotiate a good deal. Each investor looks at different criteria so you need to find in advance what they are looking for when you attempt to flip a property. Also keep in mind that you do not end up showing a higher priced home when in fact the investor is only interested in lower priced property.

If you master the above strategies, you can definitely make an interesting profit from residual income through real estate.
