Stop Being Lazy
If you could overcome one bad habit that would make the most life changing difference in your life, that habit would be procrastination.
Procrastination has only has one daily goal. To stop you just for today.
It’s easy because when you give into procrastination, you aren’t giving up on dreams forever, you are just giving them up for today. (I learned that concept from reading Steven Pressfield’s War of Art)
Working towards your dreams for one day or procrastinating for one day won’t make a big difference in your success but the compound effect of doing either one will.
Many Japanese will overcome laziness or procrastination using a technique called kaizen.

Kaizen is a Japanese term made of 2 roots Kai which means change and Zen which means wisdom. You shouldn’t make change your life spontaneously but slowly and wisely.
Slow change is a more permanent change.
It can be daunting to start a project when there is a large time commitment or if it’s uncomfortable to do. That’s why many people put their projects off each day.
Kaizen is the practice of working on a task for just one minute. It’s easier to work on a task if you know that you only have to do it for one minute. A minute may not seem like much and working on your dreams for only a minute may not make a difference in your success but the compound effect of working a minute one day and a minute the next day will. Besides, once they get started, many people will “cheat” and keep working even once they know their minute is complete. After a while, when people see the progress that they are making and realize it’s not as hard or as bad as they thought, they often start to look forward to the tasks that they have been procrastinating.
