This is why your new rep will quit

why-people-quit-network-marketingMany of your reps will quit within their first 90 days.
Quitting MLM is something that happens to most network marketers.

It can be very frustrating when you finally recruit someone and they end up quitting.
You put a lot of effort into finding someone and you hoped that your recruitment would duplicate but instead of duplicating, it fizzles.

2 Main things contribute to whether or not your new reps quit
1. False Expectations
2. Little to no results.

False Expectations
Make sure that you are not trying to convince your reps to join you. Don’t say things like “it’s easy” or “you can quit your job in 30 days.”
If give your prospect false expectations, of course they will end up quitting MLM.

Little or No Results
One of the best things that you can do with your new rep is to help them make money.
To give them the very best chance of making money, tell them to make 2 lists. 1 list of potential business partners and another list of customers.
Set an appointment to make calls with them.

Give them a script for selling to customers and watch/listen to them make calls.
If you need a great script for selling to customers, then go to http://kennysantos.com/momentum/.
It’s extremely effective and absolutely free.
You don’t have to call all of their customers with them but spend anywhere from 10 -30 minutes with them making customer calls.
If they follow the script, they will get customers.
You won’t have enough time to call all of their customers (especially if they have a big list) but the results will get them motivated enough to call their customers sooner than later and they can finish on their own.
I find that if you don’t do the first set of calls with them, they will procrastinate calling and eventually quit.

Once they have a handful of customers give them a script and have them call a couple of business partners. Getting results from customers first will give them a lot of confidence when trying to recruit. Spend about 20 -30 minutes calling potential business partners with them. If they follow they script correctly, they will have set some appointments to do some presentations. They won’t be able to finish calling everybody but (you guessed it) it will motivated them to finish calling the rest of the list later that day or by the latest the next day.

This will make your reps money. If they make money, then they are less likely to quit.

It’s a small step but very important.

Create a great day!
