You Don’t Stand A Chance At Success Unless You Do This…

Have you ever worked hard to make a change in your life but end up being back to where your started after a little while?

I did that. I wanted to lose weight and hired a personal trainer, I changed my diet and I lost about 30 lbs. I gained it all back within a year.

Most change is temporary unless you can permanently change your habits.  If you want success, it’s more than just hard work and know what to do.  If you want success you must create long lasting change.
The best way to create long lasting change is to reprogram your subconscious.

Your subconscious controls your life What ever it believes, it will achieve. Period.
Your will power may win on short term basis but over the long haul, your subconscious will always win.

Carl Jung is talking about your unconscious habits. Let’s pretend that you are someone that weighs more or less 150 lbs. If you want to lose weight, you’ll use your will power and change your habits. You’ll diet, exercise and lose weight. Let’s say about 20 lbs. You might be able to keep the weight off for a couple weeks or a couple of months but unless you do something to change your subconscious, it will kick in and you’ll unconsciously do whatever it takes to get back to 150 lbs. You’ll cheat on your diet, you’ll skip out on your exercising all because “you’ve worked hard and you deserve to take a little break” and before you know it, you’ll once again weigh 150 lbs and your subconscious is happy.

It works both ways. If you over eat because it’s the holidays or you’ve gone on an all inclusive, eat as much as you want vacation and gain weight, your subconscious will see that you weigh too much and you’ll unconsciously change your habits. You’ll eat healthier and exercise more until you are once again 150 lbs and your subconscious is once again happy.

Your subconscious is like a thermostat and it has a “setting” for all aspects of your life. Your weight, your health, your wealth etc. If usually have about $3000 in your bank account and you get a cash windfall because you strike it big at the casino or if you win the powerball lottery, your subconscious will spend up the money until you are back to $3000 again. That’s why most lottery winners are back to where they started within the 5 years. It’s not because they are stupid, it’s because of their programming. It’s also why a billionaire that you’ve heard of named Trump can lose everything and go bankrupt but be back to being a billionaire again in about 2 years. It’s his programming.

How do you program your subconscious?
I first encountered the idea of programming your subconscious in Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill   he covers in his chapters about Desire, Auto Suggestion and The Subconscious Mind. Here are 2 ways to program your subconscious

Affirmations and Visualizations
An affirmation is simply speaking your desired reality into existence. The idea is if you say something to yourself with enough emotion and enough persistence that it will come to pass.
Some examples of affirmations might be:

I am weatlhy
I am healthy
I am rich.
Money is attracted to me.
People like to pay me.

Visualization is simply closing your eyes and dreaming about the life you want to have.
What kind of house? See it in your mind in detail.
What is does the view look like??
What color is it? What color is the carpet and the walls?
What style is the house?

I can write questions about your dream house forever and you can visualize if forever as well. You can visualize about your dream house, your dream spouse, your dream car, your dream vacation etc.

Why doesn’t it work?
Thoughts become things right?
Why is it that for some people affirmations and visualizations don’t work?

It’s true that thoughts become things but there is one, teeny, tiny, small catch.
You must believe it.

Affirmations and visualizations do work but most people quit before the affirmations kick in.
I first encountered affirmations in The Greatest Salesman  in the World by Og Mandino (On a side note it’s best $6 you’ll ever spend.)

In it he writes:

“As I repeat the words daily they will soon become a part of my active mind, but more important, they will also seep into my other mind, that mysterious source which never sleeps, which creates my dreams, and often makes me act in ways I do not comprehend.”

The “other mind” that Og is talking about is the subconscious and the way it “makes me act in ways I do not comprehend” are your habits.

If your affirmations and visualizations are “not working” it’s because you are not doing it with enough feeling and enough persistence.

Is there a faster or easier way?
Maybe you’ve tried to do affirmations but you just aren’t consistent with it.  Maybe life gets in the way or you just forget and before you know it, you realize that you have done your affirmations in weeks.

Another way is through listening to audios.  Your subconscious mind is always open.  Not just when you are concentrating or working but always.  Your subconscious mind is most open when you are asleep.  Now you can’t do affirmations while you are sleeping but you can listen to audios.   You can purchase audios that are made to program your subconscious mind but the trouble is that they aren’t personalized.

The great thing about affirmations and visualizing is that you can make up any affirmation that you like.  I haven’t seen any personalized audio programs out there so I decided to make my own.   I did it and it worked well and I even made some for friends.

Now, I want to make it available for you.   Imagine, being able to listen to a personalized set of affirmation audios that are crafted especially for you.
