When you decide to become part of the Network Marketing Profession, you will get resistance from the people that you love.
Some of them will tell you that you are foolish and it will make you feel bad. Others will do it in their nice way. They will say things like, “I just don’t want you to get hurt.” or “I just don’t want you to waste your time chasing a pipe dream.”
Some of us who have been part of the profession for a while and haven’t yet achieved the success we’ve been hoping for, still hear from our friends and family, “How’s that thing your doing?” “Isn’t it about time that you gave up?”
Network Marketing is a proven profession and it works. For some it happens quickly but for most it takes a little bit longer.
The bottom line is that there is catch that comes with this path to success:
You must be willing to accept a temporary loss of social self esteem from ignorant people.~Eric Worre
Don’t take offense in calling your family/friends ignorant. According to dictionary.com, ignorant is defined as follows:
Ignorant: lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact.
Let’s face it, if your those people weren’t so ignorant about the Network Marketing profession, then they wouldn’t have said those things in the first place.
When you do get successful, your family will be more open to the idea of your new profession but unless they join, they may never really understand.
